MARIOS TRAVEL at ITB Berlin 2018

Marios Travel was delighted to attend the International Tourism Fair in Berlin (ITB Berlin), which took place from 7 to 11 March 2018.

Our office was represented by Marios Athanasiadis (Director), Chrysanthos Vrochidis (MΚΤ & Business Development) and Dimitra Georgakopoulou (Reservations & Sales).

The ITB expo covers all tourism travel areas from DMCs, destinations, airlines, tour operators, and hotels to reservation systems and technology.

One of the goals of Marios Travel is the development of incoming tourism in Greece. ITB offers an ideal setting not only to be informed about new trends and innovations in the tourism industry but also to develop and establish business relationships and contacts through a series of important meetings and new partnerships.

We met with Tour Operators, DMCs, wholesalers, hotels and technology companies. As a result, we have made preliminary business contacts with leading suppliers and we are optimistic that we will soon be able to promote Greece to an even wider audience at both European and global level.

The ITB Berlin (Internationale Tourismus-Börse Berlin) is the world’s largest tourism trade fair. The companies represented at the fair include hotels, tourist boards, tour operators, system providers, airlines and car rental companies.

The ITB Berlin takes place annually in March at the Messe Berlin. The fair always has an official partner country, in 2018 (March 7-11) represented by the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
