ATHENS & DELPHI
incl.1-Day Cruise to Hydra-Poros-Aegina
from April to October 2026 (6 Days / 5 Nights)
Athens is the capital and the largest city in Greece. It dominates the Attica region and is one of the world’s oldest cities, with its recorded history spanning over 3,400 years, with the earliest human presence starting somewhere between the 11th and 7th millennium BC. Athens got one of the most glorious histories in the world. A city worshipped by gods and people alike. The enchanting capital of Greece has been the birthplace of civilization. It is the city where democracy was born as well as most of the wise men of ancient times.
Delphi, lying on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, is one of the most famous historic sites in Greece, known throughout the ancient Greek world and beyond as the sanctuary of Apollo and the shrine of his oracle. Ancient Greeks believed that Delphi was the Navel of the Earth, a place seen as a spiritual focal point for all Greeks; it included many sanctuaries and the most prestigious oracle (Pythia) in all of ancient Greece. Today a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Delphi ranks on par with the Acropolis in Athens as one of the top tourist attractions of the Classical period of ancient Greece.
Hydra, one of the most exclusive and romantic islands in the Saronic Gulf. A true pearl unique by its scenery. Hydra is a “car-free” island meaning that no vehicles are allowed, the only means of transportation are the cute island donkeys. Poros is an island with rich history, archaeological and cultural heritage, and it’s considered a prime gem stone among the Greek islands. Poros Town looks like a cheery lakeside resort. Its pastel-hued houses stack up the hillside to a clock tower, the Neoclassical architecture and the lovely port, all make up for a vibrant first impression. Aegina has a rich history and many archaeological and architectural landmarks. Along with its wonderful pistachio groves and olive tree landscapes, as well as with the numerous charming fishing villages and quiet golden beaches, Aegina is one of the favourite destinations among the Greek islands.
